By using unique processes, combining form, soul and movement to express the
drama of life and the fantasy of reality, Geir Tosaunet creates his work and
strives to reach the core of human existence with diversity. It’s the
inspiration of life itself, completely free and unrestricted. “Traditional
and existing ways of expression, are not my way. I search for the wisdom of
the universe and my creative force reflects positivism” Tosaunet says. His
work portrays floating fragments in an infinite ocean – where the variation
of the waves creates energy bordering between fantasy and reality. Many of the
pictures are therefore created within an atmosphere of self composed
instrumental music. Being a versatile artist he happily uses one form of
expression to create another. Geir Tosaunet is represented in several private
galleries and collections in Norway and internationally. His debut as a
pictorial artist was in 2005 with a solo exhibition at the Royal Garden Hotel
(Yacht Club ) in Trondheim Norway:. In 2006, his exhibition “Spark of life
fragments” received great publicity at “Gallery Visevertshuset” in the
hometown Trondheim. The exhibition was quickly sold out. Geir Tosaunet is an
original and versatile artist with rapid development. 2006 Cannes, France
